Apple Pie Overnight oats

A quick, healthy breakfast option!

If you're like me and you love eating oats for breakfast, you'll probably also find that its hard eating them all year round.  Don't get me wrong, I do love eating them.  But there's just something about eating a bowl of hot oats on a hot summers morning that doesn't do it for me.


I have created the perfectly healthy, nutritious and delicious breakfast recipe which allows you to enjoy oats straight out of the fridge, first thing in the morning! Perfect for those hot Summer mornings. And particularly a great option if you usually hit the snooze button 10x in a row and are one of those "I don't have time for breakfast" kind of people.




Overnight Oats Recipe


Serves: 1 Preparation time: 10 minutes

Note: This recipe needs to be partially prepared the night before.


Ingredients:

  •  ½ cup Rolled Oats

  • ½ cup Almond Breeze Vanilla Unsweetened Almond Milk

  • 50g Chobani Fat Free Greek yoghurt (or any other low fat greek yoghurt)

  • 1 tbsp (20g) honey

  • Cinnamon

  • 1 Green Apple, Medium Sized, grated or chopped

  • 10g almonds


Method:

1. Combine oats, almond milk, yoghurt, honey and a sprinkle of cinnamon in a bowl or jar. Cover and refrigerate overnight.

2. In the morning, add apple and mix through. Top with Almonds and enjoy :)
